Frequently Asked Questions about Punch-Bending Machines

Radial machines produce most stamped and bent parts, including springs, contacts, and clips. Linear machines suit long, narrow components such as busbars. Modular systems combine both.

Rule of thumb: Press force = strip width × thickness × strength × safety factor. For 25 mm spring steel 1.4310 at 1 mm thickness, around 65 kN is required. The FMS-Q 80 RS is suitable. Detailed calculations are included in our 48-hour concept.

FMS-Q 80 RS: low six-figure range. FMS-Q 700 RS: mid six-figure range. Fixed-price quotation based on your component concept. Typical payback period: 9 to 24 months at full utilization.

Standard configuration: 14–16 weeks. Custom configuration: 18–22 weeks. On-site commissioning: 1–2 weeks.
